Editing a widget with words
How to ask for changes, and what works best.
Open your widget, choose Change it in the left rail, type the change and click Update. You will see the result in the preview before anything goes live.
What works well
- Adding or removing fields: "add a company field", "remove the phone number" - Wording: "change the title to Get a quote", "make the button say Send" - Options: "add Enterprise to the plan list" - Numbers: "make Pro $24 per seat", "set the maximum seats to 500" - Behaviour: "make email required", "show a thank-you message after submit"
Tips
- One change at a time is faster to review than five at once. - If a result is not what you meant, click Discard and rephrase. - "Rebuild from scratch" (next to Update) builds a new widget from your description, useful when the widget has drifted.
When it is unavailable
If you see "Editing with words is being set up", your workspace can use templates while the feature is enabled for you.
